1. Is the Creative Hub open to the public?
We are open by appointment or during scheduled events and workshops. Only registered guests may attend. We are not currently open for walk-ins or daily drop-in use.

2. Who operates the Creative Hub of Apopka?
Creative Hub of Apopka is a venue and flagship program of the Creative Alliance of Apopka, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring creativity and building community across all disciplines.

2a. How is the Creative Hub managed day-to-day?
The day-to-day coordination and operations of the Creative Hub are handled by a dedicated volunteer who generously donates their time and expertise. This commitment helps keep the space vibrant, welcoming, and focused on serving our community.

3. Can anyone rent or teach at the Hub?
We are not an open rental space. We thoughtfully curate programs based on community needs and creativity gaps.
We welcome proposals from creatives of all kinds — including artists, chefs, makers, writers, and more.

4. Who runs the workshops?
All workshops are hosted by independent creatives, not Hub employees.
Each host sets their own pricing, registration, and class policies.

5. How do I sign up for an event?
You can register for upcoming workshops and events through our Events page, where each listing includes a direct link to the host’s registration site.

6. Do you offer free or low-cost programs?
Yes! We do offer free or affordable programs thanks to our donors and community partners. We hope as we grow and get more support and possible funding through grants that we can host many more opportunities.

7. I’m a creative—how can I host something at the Hub?
We’d love to learn more! Submit a proposal through our Host a Workshop form. We review opportunities based on fit, space availability, and how the program serves or complements our current offerings.

8. Can I volunteer or support your work?
Absolutely! We welcome volunteers, donors, and local sponsors.

9. Is this a nonprofit organization?
Yes. Creative Hub of Apopka is a program of the Creative Alliance of Apopka, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
All donations are tax-deductible and support creative opportunities in our community.

We’re located in the heart of downtown Apopka.

11. What types of creative events do you host?
Our programming includes a variety of creative experiences — led by local chefs, visual artists, bakers, authors, makers, and more.
We believe creativity comes in many forms and aim to offer something for everyone.

12. Do you host private events or birthday parties?

Yes! We offer private art parties and creative events hosted by our independent workshop instructors.

Be sure to specify the type of event you’re interested in so we can connect you with the right host and provide tailored details.

To help us continue offering creative opportunities to the community, we ask for a $50 donation to the Creative Hub once your date and details are confirmed. This contribution helps support the maintenance and coordination of our nonprofit space.
